Dealing with a Dying Narcissistic, Abusive Father

Posted on February 2, 2022November 28, 2023 By Flora Langel DeKock No Comments on Dealing with a Dying Narcissistic, Abusive Father

Simple story shared prompted writing something I think everyone can benefit from reading; especially those dealing with this issue.

Translation of what I read: My father is an abusive narcissistic who figured out he has an expiration date and wants to make sure he gets that ONE last jab in before he dies or worse yet thinks if he can convince me to forgive him his sins will be forgiven and he won’t go into hell.

My suggestion is, YOU DO WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL SAFE! Yes, he is biologically your father, but frankly, he’s not a dad and never was from what I’m reading. Fathers are not owed ANYTHING, and dads earn what they get.
