Thinking Deep

Posted on January 5, 2022August 25, 2022 By Flora Langel DeKock No Comments on Thinking Deep

Why are we in the habit of letting people narrate our stories? So often we let others’ perception of us, our beauty, our ugliness, be believed of others. But to look at ourselves, we see only the flaws, the things we see every day that we disdain.

Step back, stand apart from that mirror. View yourself with fresh eyes. Know that your value is not what others perceive but the value that you bring to this world. Your knowledge, your skills, your strengths, and even your weaknesses. Knowing yourself brings you an opportunity to be better than those who would otherwise discourage. To dissuade you from being your best person.
